Forever Momentary Space (2024)
Video still
Forever Momentary Space Project investigates Iceland's ecosystem and the pressing environmental crises it faces, focusing on melting glaciers, volcanic landscapes, and soil erosion. Using a drone equipped with a photogrammetry scanner, I create detailed 3D models of icebergs and project a rotating, lab-created CO₂ diamond onto them through video mapping. The work is set in Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where icebergs break away from Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier. Created at the start of summer in Iceland, at 2 a.m. when the sun barely sets, this work presents an eternal projection onto a surface that melts with every passing second.

LED Backlit Prints
I light up glacial ice washed onto black sand beaches. These ice pieces, polished by powerful waves and filled with seawater, become as clear as diamonds. Photographs of volcanic landscapes and close-ups of melted ice illustrate the effects of soil erosion.
